Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Erik B — 15 Jul 2014
"Dazed and Confused" is kind of a victory for both independent cinema and high school/ stoner classics. It's impressive cast and intricate plotting gives off shades of what could be an Altman film, if you're into that, but it's impressive dialogue sounds like something out of a later work by Kevin Smith (who is one of Linklater's most vocal "students"). Either way you watch it, you can't deny just how charming, hysterical and fun the whole thing is. Everyone's happy.
Also, that soundtrack.
