Review of Days of Wine and Roses (1963) by Byron B — 06 Aug 2008
A very dark movie about the extremes and dangers that alcoholism can cause. Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick were both fantastic as alcoholics depending on each other to keep it together despite their growing dependancy on alcohol.
The finale leads to tragedy that leaves you to draw your own conclusion. A movie I could watch again and again.
