Review of Days of Thunder (1990) by Lucas Y — 23 Aug 2008

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman meet for the first time on the big screen. I enjoyed this film and the fact that I love NASCAR is probably one of those reasons. Days of Thunder isn't a totally awful movie.

It has an all star cast but the plot was too predictable throughout the film. There was also a lot of cheesy moments written into the film. The special effects are really good for their time and still hold up.

There is plenty of action but all your getting here is another one of your predictable underdog stories. If you like Cruise or just like seeing Cruise and Kidman get it on then check it out.
