Review of Days of Heaven (1978) by Codie E — 13 Apr 2009
Visual poetry. For me it doesn't need any more of a 'storyline' that the one it has. It is occasionally pleasureable to have a film that shows us such a select insight into the lives of the characters contained within it and this is exactly what the film does.
Very influential too, it's hard to think of There Will Be Blood without it.
