Powerful and poetic...almost biblical story with some of the most beautiful cinematography I've ever seen. It's look, it's style is 20 years ahead of its time at least. As much about life and its cycles as it is about the story.
Only Malick can make the characters the background and the scenery the foreground while still painting a perfect picture.
