Review of Days of Glory (2006) by Cynthia C — 17 Aug 2007
This was a very moving tale. It follows the story of the forgotten soldiers of WWII. Every country had them and the struggles of North African's fighting in the French army are poetically showm in this movie.
The movie is especially touching when you thing of French history and what would happen after the war. These men gave their lives for France thinking they were fighting for freedom and they were only it was not their own.
I got so angry during certain points ini the film I just wanted to scream. Equality is a never ending battle so I am glad that this movie was made. It reminds us that we are all human and have the same hopes and dreams.
So why do we insist in dividing ourselves?
