Review of Days of Glory (2006) by Matt W — 11 Aug 2008
A well acted, well directed piece of film making that shows WWII from a perspective few are familiar with. North Africans are the focal point of this film, who bravely fought for the French through turmoil and racism.
The battles are well shot, and feel very realistic, especially the final one that takes place in a small town. Well worth viewing, and deserving of the best acting award it received at Cannes last year.
