Seeing as how he Spierig brothers last venture resulted in the incredible genre buster UNDEAD, I expected nothing less from Daybreakers than what it delivered; an incredibly unique perspective on a genre that has become increasingly popular.

.. This movie creates a world unparalleled to any we have seen thus far for genre fans such as myself; however, it seems as though achieving this came at the price of emotional connections with the characters.

Solid acting for the most part with decent direction, but unfortunately this piece will remain something that lands far short of what it could have been...
