Review of Daybreakers (2010) by Richard S — 22 May 2012

I really liked this, it gave a new twist on the usual vampire story which since Underworld / Twilight has been done to death on both tv and cinema. Rather than being a straight vampire movie, it plays like a mystery thriller that just happens to be set in a world inhabited by vampires.

The effects are good and it's not all gore and thrills, there is a sly humour playing throughout the movie too. Worth checking out.
