Review of Day Watch (2006) by Kyle K — 28 Apr 2008
Though my friend thinks this is better than Night Watch, I would disagree. While both movies have their flaws, I think Night Watch comes out a little more unscathed by the director's overuse of eye candy and meaningless subplots.
The end product is a 2 1/2 hour movie that could easily be cut down to 2 hours or less by removing a few tangents. I would give this an 8 if they would stick closer to the main story/concept.
