Review of Day Watch (2006) by Dom O — 01 Jul 2008
It defently felt on par with Night Watch as the film progressed (both suffer from poor editing in places and incohenant story structures, the subplot involving the death of a minour character feels redundent at times until the climax and car chase feels forced towards the end) but this is still an enjoyble fantasy film with some pretty spectacular sequences with characters worth rooting for, so all in all a good companion piece to the previous film with a main narrative structure which works for it more then against it, containing a sense of the truely epic at times.
