With a seemingly bigger budget than its predecessor, the impressive set pieces are at the expense of a story that is far too long and almost forced me to switch off halfway through.
The conclusion is hurried and feels very derivative. It would have been better if it was truly awful as opposed to this boring, lumbering mess.
