Review of Day Watch (2006) by Rob S — 26 Jul 2008

For some reason I found it quite hard to follow - possibly something was lost in translation with the subtitles? I thought Night Watch was fantastic until towards the end, where it totally got carried away with itself - from what I hear Bekmambetov is like an excitable 6-year-old, he'll throw terrible over-the-top ideas in the mix which serve no purpose to the story simply because he thinks it'd be cool.

Still keen to see Wanted though.
