Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by John T — 10 Jun 2011

This was marketed as banned in 54 states (yeah, I know right?). Surprisingly it was rather tame. I do remember it after all these years, so that's gotta count for something. Four guys rape a woman in the middle of the woods by a lake. She gets revenge by killing all of them. The death scenes look pretty cheesy. She seduces them and kills them while she's having sex with them. Again, it's not as exciting as it sounds. Not really ultra-gorey enough to matter. Not sexy. It was almost so much but never really anything.

I love how some of the comments are "you should watch the extended gang rape sequence"... no thanks... Not really my thing...
