Review of Day of the Dead (1985) by Akshatmahajan — 28 Jul 2021
Day of the Dead is the second weakest movie after Daen of the Dead, I saw in Night of the Living Dead trilogy. There's nothing new in this 1hr 40min movie. There's just talking and talking and talking, nothing else. Movie is pointless and sloppy that drags on and on. There were so many unnecessary scenes and there were some places when a better scene could have been added. It looks like the director had no idea, what to make after 1st movie was so good. The acting was also normal, looked forceful. I don't know why people liked this movie, might be their brain stopped working just like zombies.
Overall, I expected something good from this part after getting disappointed from 2nd part but no. This was the same level except it has less running time (Thank God for that) and it's story was bareable.
