Review of Day of the Animals (1977) by Zachary M — 09 Sep 2016
I have to say that I really love 70's scifi movies. Back when things like global warming and environmental problems where just becoming an issue a lot of people where just learning about and where rightfully concerned, yet really didn't understand the full concept of the situation. That's where things like Frogs and this movie come in. I have to say this is much better than that movie.
It manages to pull off some really genuine moments of tension and the characters, while a bit stock, still felt like they had somethings going for most of them. The actors, especially Leslie Nelson, seem like they're having fun. And seeing so many real animals just puts a lot of joy in my heart. Well worth a viewing if you like these kind of movies, or are a Leslie Nelson fan.
