Review of Day Night Day Night (2006) by Genesforhire . — 19 Oct 2007
Not only is the premise compelling (and controversial), I liked how it was filmed, constantly hovering around the main character, detailing everything she does, from brushing her teeth to clipping her nails in extraneous detail. This was annoying at first, but once you get to the meat of the film, it gets extremely intense. It's that intimate closeness to the character that makes this movie stand out, if that even makes any sense.
But I have to warn you though that I didn't enjoy it at first until I examined the story as a whole, instead of focusing on how I felt right after it ended, because it was abrupt.
