Review of Day for Night (1973) by Mina C — 11 Feb 2008
Very impressive, and even educational. Especially for anyone in the film industry. The sad and hysterical social reality of such industry is brought to light perfectly with the mockumentary-style filmmaking.
The behaviors of these very specific characters are so on point. All of them are consumed by their work. They would pull any strings and go to any lengths to simply finish the filming process. This desparacy and dedication is where the richest of the comedy lies.
That and the kitten scene.
