Review of Day for Night (1973) by Javi A — 26 Jun 2009
It just looks a bit outdated and episodic (but interesting). If not for that this mockumentary should be considered a wonderful masterpiece on its genre, a beautiful love letter to cinema, a pleasant comedy (but with an obvious desolation in what refers to relations, love, friendship in that movie world, which could have been really interesting to see it developed a bit further), and a nice insight to what means making a movie, being an actor, or working on a film behind the cameras, or a director and the tricks to filmaking.
Really recommendable.
