If you are a fan of Rise of the POTA you will definitely enjoy this movie. The story is much more lively and the expressions and animation on the apes makes for tense viewing despite the CGI. In most places the CGI is very impressive, with only a few minor bumps here and there.
The acting all around was great from both the mocap cast and the physical cast, dividing sympathy equally between the apes and the humans. All in all I feel this movie is a classic in it's own right and really captures the struggles and complications with leading a civilization at difficult times whilst trying to keep your humanity and dignity.
