Review of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) by Fincasey1 — 11 Jul 2014
Expands greatly upon the first in several ways I didn't expect. Film makers have done such a great job of humanizing the apes in this film that you can emotionally connect to them so well, especially between caesar and his family.
The story was very thought provoking regarding civil war and societal issues. Not sure best way to describe it, but it was very satisfying.
