Excellent special effects.
But a few minutes into the film you realize from the stilted dialogue that it's going to be a simplistic, cliched story.
Seemingly written by 12-year-olds, strictly for an action-movie audience, the script wastes the considerable talent of its makers.
Highly recommended for its first ten minutes. Then, go read a book.
