Dawn of the Planet of the Apes might be one of the most satisfying movie since the first two movies of the original series. Yes, the human characters drag the movie down at some points, but the overall story is there, and is satisfying at least by the very end.
This movie proves (even more than the first one) that you can make a PotA movie without a single human being in it.
