This is a fantastic and spectacular movie. It is one of those sequels that takes a completely different direction from the first but is just as impactful and entertaining. It has an emotional center that genuinely touches you, and provides genuine thrills in the second half.
You are just constantly riveted by the movie. The visual effects were already great the first time around and they might be even better this time around. The takes a major spin compared to what you might be expecting and the conflict isn't as black and white as the trailers might have made you think.
It's a great summer movie that's also a one of the best of 2014. This is must watch for fans of sci-fi, action, drama, and pure fun. It's the perfect middle chapter that progresses the story well and leaves you breathlessly waiting for the next installment.
