Review of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) by Noioon — 24 Feb 2015
The only thing I didn't like in this movie is how everything goes wrong almost 100% of the time. I feel like it's an overused cheesy storytelling device where everything is going along just fine, then hey someone forgot to do this, or someone didn't do that.
Of course in order to have a story you need conflict, but please... give me a good solid reason for that conflict to exist. One plot convenience is fine, but this movie was kinda rife with them.
