Review of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) by Fracko333 — 23 Jan 2015
A sequel that is without a doubt better than its predecessor, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes proves to be the more mature of the two films. The tension between apes and humans is at its peak, even so, the desire to re-estabilish a unity is present in members of both nations, whilst others are ready to engage in an all-out-war.
The result is an action-packed sci-fi delight, with a humanistic conflict at its heart, albeit the emotive themes are fairly cliché and the movie is predictable at times.
