Review of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) by Zoe S — 25 Feb 2015
As good as ''rise''. Still desperately Hollywoodyan (Moralistic and neon letter emotions advertised by a score) but solidly written, and well acted and crafted and actions scenes are majorly impresive, to put it mildly.
. But the most wondrous things about it is how humans are so apelike and the apes are as human; fools and monsters, brave hearts and cowards, spread evenly. Only one big writing point thats stupid; ''we didnt know they would be out there...'' Really? Muir Woods didnt raise at least a tiny alarm in their heads?
