Review of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) by John Eric D — 02 Jun 2015
From it's predecessor, I thought it would be a good start for the Planet of the Apes franchise. Thus this film is definitely a step up on a different scale of film making. It's a story not just a race against human and apes, but it is also a story of trust, betrayal, revenge, and new created friendships.
There is something magical bout this film that I've been looking for a very very long time. The dramatic musical pieces timed the film very well in terms of it's dramatic and epic proportions as the story progresses.
I'm telling you this will eat your hearts out as it is a very heartfelt and heartwarming film I've seen in years. This sequel is just beyond expectation as this is a must watch and a spectacular cinematic experience that movie goers and enthusiasts have been hungry for a one great film.
A+ film 5 stars out of 5.
