With the first film in this rebooted series being great albeit slightly flawed there was room for improvement for this sequel to take advantage of and it more than did that. There is nothing I don't like about this film and plenty that I love about it.
The cast, the acting, the special effects, the plot, the script, the ideas, themes, score and the action are all great. It also looks fantastic thanks to the cinematography and it takes risks, there are no spoken English words for a substantial part of the first act for instance.
