Review of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) by Dario G — 21 Aug 2015
What a let-down. After "Rise" I expected at least competent entertainment. Instead what I was treated to was a boring and nauseatingly sentimental, typical Hollywood cliche-fest. The only differing factor I found in all this was that the cliched lines were delivered by CGI apes instead of real actors.
Hardly an improvement.
