Review of Dawn of the Mummy (1981) by Robert S — 16 Mar 2013
Admittedly, the movie had bad acting (when everyone was in peril, it sounded like a dying animal of some kind), but to me, it translates to a horror movie with black-comedy in it. Even though I had to wait a whopping 45 minutes for all the mummies to arise and start their killing spree (spoiler alert), the bad acting, bizarre plot, and gore scenes headed by Frank Agrama proved to be a movie that I would watch on a Friday night regardless.
That was how much I enjoyed it.
