Review of Dawn of the Dead (2004) by Zack S — 26 Jul 2011
Like most remakes, this version of Dawn Of The Dead will never top the original classic no matter how a lot more stylish it is. That being said, this is definitely a really awesome zombie flick by director Zack Snyder.
His first feature film is definitely a great one alright. I'll be honest, I hate most horror films with a passion with some of the main reasons being that in lacks both scares and entertainment. I didn't think Dawn of the Dead was scary but it more than made up for it by being highly entertaining throughout, never boring, and it was also really funny as well.
This isn't my favorite Zack Snyder film, but it is quite good!
