I liked Dawn of the Dead! It was similar to the original, but different enough to be its own movie. I like the idea of a zombie epidemic where the survivors are trapped in a shopping mall. I like the differences with the old movie where the zombies are super fast, which is much scarier! I like the conflict with the characters.
Namely C J's problems with others. However, there is too many characters, and sub stories. The character of Andre and the storyline could have been removed. The ending was cool with the shuttle buses from hell fight its way out of zombie land.
I give the movie a 3 out of 5 stars.
