Review of Dawn of the Dead (2004) by Maxwell S — 06 Jul 2012
I used to absolutely love this film. I still see why I would, but the film falls apart a few times throughout. I was accepting that the things I like about this film were clichà (C)d (I loved the ending and the use of "When the man comes around").
But, this is a high energy, fast-paced, fun zombie film. I'm sure that it came out exactly how Snyder wanted it to come out. Lacks the power and grittiness used in Romero's original trilogy.
