Dawn of the Dead is good for the gore, and raw emotion and style that remakes the original while being original with new ideas. A tactic that some directors should take notes on. This film is worthy of buying on dvd and brushing other zombie movie dvds aside to put this on your shelf.
Dawn of the Dead is definitely "Money Well Spent".
