Review of Dawn of the Dead (2004) by Amanda C — 13 Jul 2014
Zack Snyder does a good job of making his Dawn of the Dead remake about people, not zombies, which makes the horror that much more effective. At times it gets a bit silly, but it's a horror film and Sarah Polly's performance grounds the film in reality giving it more weight and more emotional punch.
