Whilst it's not Spinal Tap, and it's not as funny as Gervais' live material, Life on The Road captures the funny awkwardness of the David Brent character and provides enough laughs along the way with its mockumentary style.
The music, which is supposed to be bad, is still quite enjoyable and Gervais has to be applauded for writing, directing, starring and singing.
