Review of David & Layla (2005) by Lauren L — 19 Jul 2007

I was one of the lucky few Nashvillians to have seen this movie along with the director Jan Jonroy on its opening night in theaters. I have to say that the movie was inspired--not merely by a true story, but also, Jonroy's exrteme dedication to this movie.

There were a select few moments where the script seemed weak, but something about this movie radiated heart, and no one can fault it for that. It's one of the best movies I have seen in a long time, and I recommend everyone to it.
