Review of Dave (1993) by Sue X — 16 Aug 2007

I love most movies about presidents, but "Dave" -- the story of a man who isn't really the president at all -- stands out from the crowd. The story is idealistic, but it is also inspiring.

The main character is a little goofy, but he is also charismatic and charming. All in all, I suppose, "Dave" isn't believable, but the fact that in the real world an ordinary man with a big heart cannot create change in Washington speaks more against practical politics than against this movie.
