Review of Dave (1993) by Drago? C — 17 Feb 2010

It has been a while since I have seen this movie, but, after watching American Dreams, and, it's absent minded President,.

I immediately thought of a movie with better acting, and one of the best presidential movies I have seen. That is DAVE.

Here is your look-a-like commercial actor, who suddenly finds himself cast to keep up the appearance that the real President is in charge, even though the real deal is in a sex indused coma. What a great story!

So, here is this average guy who is portraying the president, who suddenly decides he can do the job, and not only do the job, but be better at it. So good at it, that even the Presidents wife is suspicious, and not at all shocked when she learns the truth. And, she not only deals with it, she backs up the idea, and falls for the new guy.

The movie was brilliant, and, how they ended the story with a whats next for our hero outcome made it pretty special.

It's a "we need people like Dave running the country." movie, and lets get real and throw the currupt bums out film. It certainly gave me a "what if" feeling.

I loved it!
