Kevin Kline, also from Sophieâ(TM)s Choice, is the stand-in president in this extremely funny comedy. He is originally called in to just walk out to the limo, but after Bill Mitchell has a stroke when in bed with an aid, Dave has to play a more extended role in The Oval Office, and he not only provides laughs, he sets out to make the country better and planning much needed change, with him finding the required money from the budget to help homeless children.
His relationship with the First Lady is also a stand-out part of the film; the shower bit and when they are stopped by police are very, very funny scenes.
