Review of Date Night (2010) by Corey N — 02 Oct 2011
This comedy starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey play a married couple with busy jobs and raising two kids. But they make one night a week as a date night. Feeling in a rut they decide to go to the city to have their date.
But when the couple take a reservation that is not for them it leads to a case of mistaken identity that puts their lives in danger. This leads them on a fun but crazy night of adventure. Overall I found this to be a decent comedy.
It has many funny moments and even has a great car chase scene. Carell and Fey have chemistry in this. Plus the film has a solid supporting cast. I think people who are married with kids will enjoy this more since they can understand and sympathize with the married couple jokes and humour.
But overall this is a solid comedy worth checking out at least once.
