A great cast in a film where they obviously got paid a lot to turn up and have fun. This is often a recipe for comedic success but in this case, it's mostly wasted potential. 'Date Night' isn't a bad film, but it's also nothing more than a completely mediocre film and it both could have and should have been given the talent involved.
But alas, it could have been much worse. The cast do wonders to keep it watchable and at very least entertaining, but it's a film that I'll certainly never watch again.
