Carell and Fey are so unbelievably likable it hurts. While there are moments where their pairing lacks a little chemistry, they are both ultimately very easy to watch together, and insanely charming at that.
Overall this is not the very best romantic comedy you will ever see, but it isn't the worst and the theme at the heart of the film is what helps it pull through. Some decent cameos throughout don't hurt it either.
