Review of Date Night (2010) by Derek D — 26 Aug 2012
What is it? A comedy film with action elements? An action flick with comedy in it? It wants to be both, but can't really make up it's mind. If it's the former, then they've got the right stars, it just needs less action.
However if it's the latter then Carrell and Fey are seriously miscast and the comedy needs to go down quite a few notches. The film's producers know it's audience and that's all that really matters.
