Review of Date Night (2010) by Moe J — 21 Jul 2011
I'm not surprised that this movie was awesome. When I saw the preview for the first time, I knew for sure that I would go see the movie. Steve Carrel is extremely funny on The Office, funny in Evan Almighty and Over the Hedge and I'd seen Tina Fey on 30 Rock and in Baby Mama.
They're both pretty funny people. Not only were they funny, they also had great chemistry. Also, the scenes with Mark Wahlberg as the shirtless client of Tina Fey were just hysterical. Also, there was one really good action scene where Steve Carrel and Tina Fey crash into a taxi and are being chased by the police.
They escape, but the taxi comes along for the ride with the driver still in the taxi. I know, it's awesome. I think this is a film that people should check out on the big screen and if you can't catch it on the big screen, go ahead and rent it.
It won't make that big a difference.
