Review of Das Boot (1981) by Joe . — 20 Jun 2009
Interesting to see the Germans of WWII from the other perspective. Not as the war-mongering zealots Hollywood portrays them, simply as soldiers doing a job, following orders. VERY long, but also a very worthwhile film.
A bit of trivia: one of the submarine models was actually re-used in Steven Spielberg's Raiders of the Lost Ark.
