Review of Das Boot (1981) by Dave R — 27 Mar 2010
I'm not usually a fan of submarine films (maybe it has something to do with claustrophobia...) but this film is amazing. I watched the "uncut" version - 4 hours and some change - and it had me hooked the whole time.
great performances and great characters in this film - you really get to appreciate the fact that they are human beings caught up in the turmoil of the times.
