Review of Das Boot (1981) by Andres V — 03 Apr 2011
Yeah this movie is probably the best war movie ever made, at least that I have ever seen. It's an incredible story told through the perspective of the Nazis. It's a movie about war at its finest and it really feels like you're sitting in that bloody U Boat with them getting depth charges over and over by the Allies.
One of my favorite movies of all time. In German with english subtitles is the only way to watch it imo, all 4.5 hours of it.
