Review of Das Boot (1981) by Alex H — 08 Feb 2009
I liked this way more than I really expected to. I only saw it just because I like German movies and this is an important German movie. I don't typically go for war movies, but this was very excellently done.
Don't know if I'd put it on par with The Blue Angel or Metropolis on my list of great German movies, though.
